Methods / From question to interpretation
Making evidence
useful.
My research contributions span instrument development, data collection and preparation, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and evidence synthesis. These methods are grounded in collaborative educational research.
Quantitative inquiry.
I use SPSS to prepare descriptive and comparative analyses and communicate results through statistical reports. My experience includes multi-year survey data and survey-based engineering education research.
- Survey development and data preparation
- Descriptive and comparative analyses
- Statistical reporting and scholarly writing
Qualitative inquiry.
I contribute to interviews, focus groups, qualitative data preparation, coding, and thematic interpretation. My experience includes school-based and reflective-practice research.
- Interview and focus-group coordination
- Transcript cleaning and speaker-label consistency
- NVivo data management, deductive coding, and synthesis
Evidence synthesis.
I work with explicit search and screening protocols to identify, organize, and interpret research literature. My current AI³ work follows JBI and PRISMA-ScR guidance.
- Database search development
- Screening calibration and PRISMA tracking
- Data extraction and framework-based synthesis
Instruments & research coordination.
I develop survey and consent instruments in Qualtrics and support the organization of research through documentation, scheduling, recruitment, and ethics processes.
- Survey and consent instrument development
- Site-specific instrument versions and pilot testing
- Research ethics documentation and fieldwork coordination
